Digital Transformation As A Service (DTaaS)

Smart business operational excellence enabled by digital technologies are moving from gains made by continuous improvement through digitalization to increased automation of business processes. The combination of lower-cost cloud-delivered hardware and agility from open source application development tools is leading to much lower infrastructure and labor costs. As a result, businesses that fail to take advantage of technological innovation often struggle to maintain their competitive advantage as technology innovation and competitiveness through automated processes are tightly linked. By taking advantage of digital transformation technologies, organizations can increase agility while decreasing their cost and risk. To surpass the competition, today’s CEO has to handle the complex task of digitally transforming the entire organization leveraging technology changing at a much faster pace than any time before. With the advent of digital technologies such as cloud computing, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning, business automation is at the forefront in helping corporations make this transition successful.

DEMS as a Digital Transformation Technology Consultant/Advisor  is currently helping our clients to leverage digital technologies to improve all aspects of their business. This includes deliver capital investment projects and programs better, faster, and more cost-effective by leveraging  big data & analytics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, internet of things, business process analysis and businesse intelligence including migration to  Cloud.

DEMS is helping our clients in digital transformation in the planning and execution of projects and programs in all sectors. We start with the end in mind, and our various digital offerings are appearing across the full project life cycle.

We have automated our design, engineering, procurement, construction, operations, and maintenance  processes with rules-based design through Digital Twin, Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) methodology, and the appropriate use of digital technologies such as connected workers and automated construction equipment. We are working closely with our clients to understand their project and business pain points.  Frame innovative  digital technology solutions that will address those pain points across the project life cycle.

Changes to the Oil & Gas, Power, Chemicals & Manufacturing industry sectors focused on increasing efficiency, reducing climate impact, and incorporating more diverse energy sources will require an intelligent data foundation. Digitalization and sustainability are linked and provide opportunities for emission reduction, resource conservation, and as a catalyst for other change.

Energy Transition Graph

In the unrelenting drive to operate more efficiently and sustainably, demand is increasing for large-scale capital projects. This provides huge opportunitiesfor industrial organizations, but also requires companies to find innovative solutions to economic and environmental challenges. The increasing pressure from shrinking margins, global competition, and scrutiny of green certifications requires more than just an incremental change in how a capital project is delivered. The industry needs an end-to-end transformation that improves performance at every stage of the value chain. Digital twin technologies are providing the means for this shift - connecting people, data, processes, and technology, while making the most of cloud collaboration. This new way of working provides unrivaled insight and control, enabling organizations to optimize performance across capital projects and operations. Teams work more effectively and efficiently, with fewer risks and less wasted time and resources. With these new advanced capabilities, industries can design and operate facilities that are more efficient and greener than ever before. While the benefits of digital transformation are well recognized, successfully deliverin smarter, connected facilities can be challenging.

As industries step into the future, digital twin technology is on track to achieve record efficiency and promote net-zero emissions. A cloud-enabled digital twin connects all capital project stakeholders around a single hub of end-to-end data, processes, and tools that span conceptual design through to handover. It provides the data visualization, models and analytics, training, and maintenance insights required to drive performance transformation in a way that optimizes asset operations.

Sustainability and decarbonization will receive substantial investment. Reaching net-zero emissions by 2050 requires $9.2 trillion in annual average spending on physical assets, $3.5 trillion more than today, according to a new Mckinsey report.
We cannot go on with business as usual - that will see a global warming of 2.7°C. To limit global temperature rise to 1.5°C, we must reduce global emissions by half by 2030 compared with 2010 levels, and reach net-zero by 2050.

DEMS Research and Development team designs and builds digital twins by leveraging the existing digital technologies such as advanced analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. Improve the production and energy efficiency of greenfield and brownfield industrial process plants leading to a reduction in carbon footprint, enhanced sustainability, and promoting net-zero goals across the asset life cycle.
